Bio

Designer Mia Ward is a Sydney based interior architect who creates beautiful, practical spaces for residential and commercial clients. Mia brings 25 years industry experience to every project, and combines her natural aesthetic sense with an intuitive communication style that enables clients to explore and actualise their own design ideas. Mia manages each stage of the design process from concept to completion of construction, ensuring that completed spaces are unique, personal and harmonious in function and design.

Before launching Miwa Design in 2010, Mia was an associate director at a large commercial architecture and interior design firm, specialising in large-scale hospitality and residential projects. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with an honours degree in Interior Architecture in 1997.
